ILS adopts a holistic approach to solutions development, including placing considerable emphasis on capacity building of the systems' end users. We provide comprehensive client training programs on all our products during delivery and implementation. We can also tailor additional training if required, taking into account specifics of the local site or other subject areas such as land administration principles. As a rule training is provided in the context of our consulting/software development projects. Subjects covered by training are the following: - Computer basics - in cases where local staff are unfamiliar with modern IT equipment and systems,
- Systems administration - servers and LAN management, backup/restore activities, maintenance,
- Software training - comprehensive on-site training on all software delivered, including provision of sets of training materials and user guides, and
- Additional Subject Matter training - in cases where additional training in areas such title registration/deeds recordation is required.
A key feature of our approach is that we not only train "how the system works", but we can also provide comprehensive background material for users and explain "why the system works in such a way". We found this approach to be of added value by significantly increasing training efficiency output and reducing the time required for systems uptake by staff. ILS is also able to offer and/or coordinate off-site training programs and international study tours where deemed appropriate and required by the client.
