ILS is pleased to announce that Mr. Daniel Heiner has joined the company as a full time staff member focusing on business development for the Caribbean and Latin and South American markets.
Mr Heiner will be based in Managua, Nicaragua and will also provide technical support to various ongoing ILS projects including the Bahamas Land Use Policy and Administration Project. Peter Rabley, President of ILS says “ We are very pleased to have someone of Daniel’s proven field experience and technical knowledge. Having Daniel with ILS full time adds to our already extensive team of professionals providing innovative and proven solutions and systems for land titling and registration and cadastre”. Previously, Mr. Heiner was the ILS team leader/manager for the World Bank SIICAR project in Nicaragua where he oversaw the configuration and implementation of the ILS solution – LRS- for an integrated National Cadastre and Registry Information System. Mr. Heiner has more than 25 years of experience in the use of LIS/GIS and GPS systems in emerging economies. He holds Bachelor’s degrees in Forest Management and International Economics from Oregon State University. He has participated as GIS/LIS project coordinator/administrator on numerous projects around the world including in Nicaragua and in Iraq. |
