KINGSTON, JAMAICA -- International Land Systems (ILS), Inc. recently led a Study Tour of senior Government officials of the United Republic of Tanzania to the Jamaican National Land Agency (NLA) to study their modern integrated Land Registry and Cadastre system.  The Study Tour is part of an ILS World Bank contract to conduct a land title registry needs assessment as part of the World Bank's Private Sector Competitiveness Project.

SILVER SPRING, MD -- The Ukrainian government issued state resolution 844, a nation-wide land registration drive expected to privatize land holdings for some six million Ukrainian citizens.  The government resolution allows citizens to register land holdings free of charge, and is expected to provide a critical capital foundation for the emerging market economy.

DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA -- International Land Systems (ILS), Inc. in partnership with the Swedish state-owned company, Swedesurvey AB, has entered into a World Bank sponsored contract with the United Republic of Tanzania's Ministry of Lands, Housing and Human Settlements Development to re-engineer the current land registration processes.

A land registration system, International Land Systems (ILS), Inc.'s LRS software, based on ESRI geographic information system (GIS) software will be used in the implementation of a Rural Land Registration and Certification Project in China's Anhui Province.  International Land Systems (ILS), Inc. was selected by the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) to implement a registration and certification program based on ESRI's ArcGIS software platform.

DUSHANBE, TAJIKISTAN -- A conference marking the closeout of the U.S. Agency for International Development's (USAID) Land Reform and Market Development Project II (LRMD II) took place on Friday, September 4.  U.S. Charge d'Affaires, Necia Quast and Deputy Prime Minister, Murodali Alimardon were in attendance with stakeholders in the project's effort to help strengthen land-related legislation and land policies in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

SILVER SPRING, MD -- ILS is pleased to announce that Ms. Carol Roffer has joined our team as Project Manager for the installation of a new Land Records System with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (MnDNR).  The project is scheduled to begin on May 26th, 2009.

On April 30, 2009 International Land Systems (ILS), Inc. of Silver Spring, Maryland entered into a contract with the Commonwealth of Dominica to supply and install ILS's ArcGIS Server based enterprise cadastral management software -- MultiCadastre, to Government agencies responsible for land administration.
