International Land Systems (ILS), Inc to showcase integrated national cadastral and registry solutions, and present a technical workshop on National Cadastres at upcoming ESRI International User Conference 2005.

At the invitation of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), ILS conducted a workshop for specialists and managers of Ministry of Justice(MoJ), State Geodetic Agency (SGA) and World Bank Project Implementation Unit and presidents of some district courts (overall about 25 experts).

A joint venture of ILS and SwedeSurvey (Sweden) with RISK company (an ESRI distributor for Azerbaijan) as a subcontractor, successfully finalized the operational acceptance and commissioning of the Unified Cadastre and Registration System (UCRS) according to the World Bank ADCP project.

ILS took part in the InterGeo East International Conference at Zargeb, Croatia. ILS presented an integrated registration and cadastre solution in a joint booth with HP and Gisdata (regional ESRI distributor) as well as Lantmateriet (National Land Agency, Sweden). The solution was demonstrated to representatives of national agencies and organizations from Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro. Igor Popiv spoke at the conference session on integrated registry and cadastre and showed how ILS addresses the topic in its system solutions.

ILS is pleased to announce that Noel Taylor has rejoined the company as Vice President for International Programs. He will help drive the growth of the company’s portfolio of international land administration, land titling and cadastre programs, as well as providing advisory inputs in the areas of cadastral systems and land titling on new and existing projects.

Implementation of the USAID Egypt Financial Services (EFS) Project recently commenced with ILS President, Peter Rabley, visiting Cairo to develop the EFS Project Implementation Plan in conjunction with representatives from other consortium members.

Kiev , Ukraine: The ESRI Ukraine User Conference held May 24-29, 2004 in Crimea, Ukraine was sponsored and hosted by ECOMM the Ukrainian distributor for ESRI. More than 200 attendees were present to listen to the opening plenary and other technical sessions. ILS Ukraine Managing Director Mr. Igor Popiv provided one of the keynote speeches at this session presenting the ILS LRS title registration system.
